Name That Typeface Contest!
I put my typeface design up.
I’m not completely happy with the name. I’d like something more creative and that better conveys essence of the typeface. If anyone has any ideas for a new name, add a comment to this post with your e-mail address and I’ll send you the current version of the font (lowercase only) free! The winner will get the final version including the full character set (when it’s finished).

My name for your typeface is JackRussell.
I like your type a lot and I think the round peg guy is incredible.

Hmmm… this is kinda ugly. I’ll be working on the formating / design of the comments soon.
Some very interesting names so far. Keep them coming.

Always loved something about pumping those little dragons full of air. What about this type reminds of Dig Dug? I think it is the anamorphic feel each character seems to possess.

i’d call it Draupadi, the women of all the pandavas in the Mahabharata. Because it looks feminine in a devorous way, both classic and lively, and enough unique to deserves a unique name.
What could i add ? Maybe that it could do a wonderful typeface for titling of a mythological book…

I dare to suggest “dies irae”(dies irae dies illa, solvet saeculum cum favilla), or “uskomatonta” (”incredible”, in finnish), or “scarliga” (”to fall” in my dialect).
Comment by Luciano — Thursday, August 12 @ 4:40 am
Eek! I’d say it’s not morbid enough for “Dies Irae”
I offer “Sui” meaning itself, of itself. Lingua latinae meliorum omnes est
Or, “Donnybrook”
donnybrook \DON-ee-brook\, noun:
1. A brawl; a free-for-all.
2. A heated quarrel or dispute.
It comes from the name of a town in Ireland and there’s something about the letterforms that reminds me of neo-celtic type or something.

Really like the font. I’d suggest the name ‘Posh Jr.’, or at least something with Jr. It’s classy but at the same time still a bit playfull. Like a prince who has to behave at a formal party, but can’t resist to dive under the table when nobody looks. That sort of thing
